It was the night before Halloween..

And all through the house,
too many creatures were stirring
but hopefully not a mouse.

The Trick or Treat bags hung on the door knob with care,
with hope that lots of treats
soon will be there.

Mom is still sewing
up most of the night,
while the kids keep on chattering
and won't say "Good night!"

3 costumes down,
only one more to go,
back to the sewing machine
I must go!
